The Minnesota Timberwolves are under NEW ownership

Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore have purchased the Minnesota Timberwolves from majority owner Glen Taylor for 1.5 Billion Dollars. Rodriguez and Lore are expected to take full majority ownership of the franchise by the 2023 season.

Local fans in the twin cities have their concerns that the team may eventually be relocated off the fact that there are bigger markets outside of Minneapolis.

For now, the Timberwolves should be in Minnesota for the foreseeable future. As of now the Timberwolves hold the worst record overall in the NBA sitting at 14-42.
