A Nintendo-Microsoft Partnership coming later this year?
There has been rumor of a once traditional rivalry match-up Nintendo & Microsoft in partnership that could come later this year. But what does this mean?
Well lets give you a little back history on previous partnerships..
Back in the early 90’s Nintendo and Sony were once in talks on building a system together. Nintendo has always been heavy on its cartridge gaming and quite frankly pushed with it as long as they could up until its return on the Nintendo Switch of course. Back in those days something big was in the light… The CD-ROM.
The two companies went to work. Nintendo a popular choice in the gaming world and Sony the tech savvy innovator everywhere else.
The little known “Nintendo PlayStation” was merely a thought with a prototype design before Nintendo turned its back and went with Phillips for the CD-ROM technology.
Maybe Sony should give Nintendo a little credit as without them turning their back on Sony we may have never seen Sony enter the Video Games world as now they were invested to finish what was started. That being said the “Sony PlayStation” was born!
Back when Microsoft entered the market with its original Xbox, they actually negotiated to buy Nintendo to give themselves a boost in the market. As you probably guessed Nintendo laughed at them.
Here we are 20 years later and now there’s rumor of a Microsoft-Nintendo partnership. What could it mean? Well there are two more than likely suggestions.
One being Nintendo getting the “Xbox Game Pass” for the Nintendo Switch. The reason why this is highly suggested is because of a yet another rumor of a highly powered Nintendo Switch Pro coming out.
The Second highly known suggestion is that Halo’s Master Chief could join the battle in Supers Smash Bros. As this has been a norm in the Super Smash Bros series this could be very well likely.
