Biden Administration wants to monitor your texts

A recent report revealed the Biden administration has plans to work with tech companies and SMS carriers to monitor and combat misinformation.

On Monday July 12th Politico reported plans from the Biden administration to block misinformation in regards to the COVID-19 vaccine.

“The White House has decided to hit back harder on misinformation and scare tactics after Republican lawmakers and conservative activists pledged to fight the administration’s stated plans to go door to door to increase vaccination rates,” Politico wrote.

Biden allied groups, including the Democratic National Committee, are also planning to engage in fact checkers more aggressively and work with SMS carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines that is sent over social media and text messages.

Republican lawmakers expressed outrage at the prospect. On Friday, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster told state health officials to prohibit unsolicited door-to-door vaccination efforts, arguing it would “further deteriorate the publics trust and could lead to potentially disastrous public safety consequences.”

The White House has sought to emphasize that those involved in the outreach effort are not federal employees, but rather are, in Psaki’s words, “grassroots volunteers.”

Would all these grassroot volunteers have to be vaccinated themselves, would they also be required to wear face masks when they went door to door? What happens if a homeowner decides they don’t want to hear what they have to say, are they added to a list? Also how do they know what houses to go to?

As for monitoring your text messages, does opinion not matter anymore is Freedom of Speech only allowed if you are on a specific side?
