Edai 600 Dead at 32

Chicago Rapper Edai was shot multiple times in the back and killed on Saturday night July 31st into the early morning of Sunday August 1st.
Edai was rushed to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Edai alongside Chief Keef brought the Chicago drill scene to life. Edai broke through with his single "Gucci", and gained commercial relevance. Soon after Edai started his own record label Team 600 ENT, and released his solo album, "Came From Nothing" in February 2014.
Edai's death adds to the rapid growing list of rappers that have died from gun violence in the last two years. Beginning with Pop Smoke's murder back in February 2020.
2Pac and Ice Cube affiliate Gonzoe was gunned down in Seattle over the weekend as well.
Edai's last Instagram post that came four days ago, he promised to keep delivering "The hottest shit in America."
Too many young lives being taken with the violence across the nation. Rest easy Edai!
