Walmart and Disney Vaccine
Walmart and Disney join groups of businesses requiring vaccines. Walmart's mandate applies to office workers and traveling managers but not to store and warehouse employees.
On Friday, Walmart and Disney introduced new requirements that some employees be vaccinated.
Walmart the nation's largest private employer, with nearly 1.6 million workers, said vaccines would be required for employees in its headquarters and traveling managers in the United States by early October.
The Walt Disney Co., the media conglomerate that owns Disney theme parks, ABC Networks, and namesake movie studios, will require all salaried and non union employees to be vaccinated in the next 60 days.
Walmart is also doubling their incentives to $150 to workers in stores, clubs, as well as other facilities like distribution centers to get the vaccine.
