Legendary World Champion Cameron “Kronovi" Bill’s to retire from Competitive Play.

A legend has decided to hang up his Name in Rocket League Competitive play and his name is known for his remarkable career that has left a mark for generations to come. Former World Champion and pioneer for Rocket League; Kronovi has decided to retire from Competitive play.

Kronovi is known throughout the Rocket League community as a living legend for his role in pioneering RLCS to what is is now, but it wasn’t always like this. Rocket League grew from where it started and Kronovi had a hand in it when he won the first ever RLCS Championship as a part of IBUYPOWER Cosmic alongside his teammates Lachinio and Over Zer0 back in 2016 against FlipSid3 Tactics.

When the RLCS Championship Series first started, it wasn’t really known like it is today and didn’t have the support back then. But that didn’t stop Players from competing, especially Kronovi. Together alongside with other legends they helped pioneer to what it has become today. But he didn’t start out as a pro player, believe it or not he had very humble beginnings as a content creator for RLs predecessor game: Supersonic Acrobactic Powered Battle Cars.

Having been apart over a dozen teams, Kronovi has had a hand in over hundreds if not Thousands of Players life in some way or another including that of Powerhouse Org: G2. After winning the first RLCS, Kronovi left IBUYPOWER Cosmic for G2 and joined Jknaps and Rizzo to form a formidable team that dominated the NA Region. Together they made World Appearancrs in Seasons 4 and 7 and ranking in the top of North America Placements for many seasons.

Aside from his Accomplishments and winning the first ever World Championship, Kronovi enjoyed playing Rocket League and creating content for future generations to come, but that has all come to end and Kronovi feels relief. In a statement via his Twotter account, he reveals his reason for retiring due to not feeling the drive along with the experience of a pro player isn’t as rewarding as he once felt many years ago “ I maintain high standards and the amount of work to meet those standards [competitively] is better spent elsewhere. I know I can become a great content creator and caster/coach if I put time into it… I intend to be more involved than ever in the RL community

Kronovi had been pondering retirement for a long time and has decided that it is time, The competitive scene won’t be the same with his retirement but thi isn’t the end for Cameron, he still will make a difference behind the scenes and honestly, I think its for the best. Thank You Kronovi, we will continue honring your legacy for many years to come. May you enjoy your retirement well
