Frank Gore headed to a boxing ring

The veteran running back Frank Gore turned down offers during the offseason to focus on his boxing training on a potential new career path.

"I've been training for both football and boxing, I've always loved boxing, so that’s what I've been doing. And we're trying to make a fight happen, if we do that, you'll see me in the ring."

The 38 year old spent his last season with the New York Jets. With many celebrity fights being made all around the sport of boxing, why not give it a shot and collect a fat pay day.
