UFC Tournament

The UFC announced early Friday April 22nd that it will stage an eight man tournament across four men's weight classes this year. The hope of the tournament is to sign new Asian talent. The initiative will begin on June 9th and June 10th which will take place in Singapore Indoor Stadium. UFC 275 will also be in the same venue on June 11th. The tournament will air on UFC's streaming service Fight Pass.

Contestants have yet to be revealed, but athletes from Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India, and China.

The weight classes involved in the tournament are, Flyweight, Bantamweight, Featherweight, and Lightweight, each tournament winner will recieve a UFC contract.
