Be on the lookout! Rare sightings of Elk herd moves down into the Salt Lake Valley. Although it is a unique capture, many were stuck in between traffic on freeways near the foothills. Multiple were hit, killed and euthanized due to injury. The reason of the Elk coming down so low in the valley could be due to dry cold winters along with look for vegetation.
